We’re looking for someone positive and hard-working, with great attention to detail to join the team here in Kendal as our full-time Production & Roasting Assistant.
Located right at the gateway to the adventure playground that is the English Lake District, we’re an unashamedly modern roastery, with a sourcing strategy focussed on quality, provenance and relationships, and we’re proud to supply some of the leading coffee shops, restaurants and hotels in the UK and beyond.
Reporting to our Head Roaster & Operations Manager, the role will predominantly involve packaging and dispatching our wholesale and retail orders, production roasting on our Loring S15 and S35 roasters, sample roasting on our Ikawa, preparing and participating in cuppings, keeping the roastery clean and organised, and otherwise providing assistance to the Head Roaster & Operations Manager as required.
Prior experience is not required, just a willingness to learn and get stuck in.
