ALL PROFITS FROM THE SALE OF MOONSHINE WILL GO TOWARDS SUPPORTING THOSE AFFECTED BY COVID-19
At the end of the week, we usually have some coffee left at the roastery that we don't sell. This tends to be because it is more than two weeks past roast date, and therefore outside the window within which purchasers of speciality coffee tend to expect to receive their coffee. The truth is that whole bean coffee stays delicious for so much longer than that when kept in the right conditions.
Rather than waste this coffee, we have decided to have a bit of fun with it and offer it to you all as something of a 'lucky dip'. One batch might be a delicate, floral washed Ethiopian, the next a big, juicy natural Rwandan - we might even concoct some unconventional test blends and see what you guys think of them. Whatever it is, it will always be speciality grade coffee sourced in adherence with all our usual principles.
For the duration of the current crisis we will be allocating all profits from the sale of this coffee to help support those affected by the Covid-19. If you have any ideas as to where these funds would be best allocated we are open to ideas. In the meantime, we will use them to help support our local community where we see the need arise.
